I went on a nature walk with Little D and his daddy a few months ago in Joliet, Illinois. I'm from the Midwest and flew back this summer for a trip to visit home. I went to college with Little D's mom and dad, and his mom was super excited to get him in front of my camera. As you can see, he thoroughly enjoyed our adventure. He was a bit shy in the beginning, so I helped break the ice by asking him to find a good stick to play with... and boy, was that the right thing to do, he barely ever put it down! I couldn't believe the gorgeous scenery surrounding us, especially the creek that was hidden just beyond the tree-line.
